Raising the bar for Procurement at Beiersdorf
Beiersdorf AG, the German consumer products manufacturer, reported its strongest annual sales revenues since 2008 at the start of the year. Its portfolio of brands including Nivea, Tesa and Elastoplast are highly profitable in Europe and North America but less so in emerging markets. To sustain its continued trajectory of growth, a core focus for the business over the next few years is expanding production into China and other new markets across Asia, Africa and Australia.
